Blackboard has developed a program of services, tools and resources for ANGEL clients– many of them free or discounted – to assist with the upgrade process to Release 9.1. As we develop more resources for our ANGEL clients, we will continue to build out the Upgrade Center for you.

Life in Release 9.1 for ANGEL Webinar – An overview of what's new in Blackboard Learn, Release 9.1 —from both an educator and an administrator perspective.

Client Programs

Join the Blackboard Idea Exchange (BIE) and get access to free client programs designed to share information, answer your questions, prepare you for the transition to Release 9.1, all working alongside other ANGEL clients.

ANGEL Office Hours
Each month, clients will have access to Blackboard experts in a gathering of other ANGEL users. Clients set the agendas. We will meet the 3rd Monday of every month at 2:00pm Eastern. Please sign up to receive more information.

ANGEL Content Conversion Product Development Partnership (PDP)
This is an opportunity for ANGEL clients to partner with Blackboard to test the ANGEL content conversion to Blackboard Learn, Release 9.1 and influence the Blackboard Learn roadmap. Space is limited. To show interest in joining this program, please click here.

ANGEL Migration Support Program/Upgrade Cohort
Clients will meet for a series of virtual meetings designed to help you plan and execute your move to Release 9.1. It is completely free and includes best practices and advice from Blackboard and clients who have done it all before. Those who participate will receive free Licensed Training Materials – Student Online Training – and 10 free seats to Introduction to Blackboard Course Delivery Online Training – Self-Paced. Improve Success with Blackboard Managed Hosting
For new or existing Blackboard Managed Hosting clients using ANGEL, Blackboard provides a free transitional environment of Release 9.1 for parallel production purposes.   • The following offers may require the purchase of additional services and are subject to standard pricing after Year 1: Full SIS Integration, Release 9.1 Production Hosting Service and Content & Community Program.
  • Clients must sign up for and take delivery of any free or discounted services before December 31, 2012.
  • All services can be delivered remotely. If onsite work is required, all related travel costs will be paid by the client.
